Entry Requirements for Antigua and Barbuda
All visitors to Antigua and Barbuda must have an onward or return ticket. Citizens of United States, United Kingdom and Canada citizens
do not require a visa to enter Antigua and Barbuda and may travel on one of the following:
- Valid Passport
- Original Naturalization Certificate
Persons visiting are permitted to stay as long as their business takes, provided that:
- this is no longer than six months
- they have an onward or return ticket
- they have confirmation of accommodation
- they can produce evidence of their ability to maintain themselves in Antigua and Barbuda
On arrival into Antigua and Barbuda, all passengers including infants are required to have valid documentation (passports,resident cards) to present to the officers. If you are unsure about what documents are required please contact your airline prior to your
travel. You can also contact the Antigua Barbuda Immigration Department. Each passenger is required to present a completed Immigration Form to an officer upon arrival. It is the responsibility of the carriers to distribute immigration forms to its passengers.
Passengers departing Antigua & Barbuda are required to go through Emigration where their documents will be processed and inspected before travel.
Each departing passenger must have a completed Departure Record to present to the Immigration Officer. This would be the small portion of the Immigration Form that would have been returned to you in your passport upon your arrival. If you do not have this
record a new form must be completed. These forms are available at check in or at the Emigration Check Point.

All persons entering the country are required by law to declare to Customs anything contained in their baggage, or carried with them, which has been obtained outside of Antigua and Barbuda. Passengers are also required to answer all questions asked by
the Customs Officer relating to their travels, baggage, its contents and other items being imported.
The combined Immigration/Customs declaration forms are distributed at ports of entry and exit, airline and ships agents, and their offices. It is advisable to fill out your declaration in advance of your arrival in order to expedite Immigration and Customs
clearances. Passengers are asked to be honest when filling the declarations and co-operative with the customs baggage officers. Misinformation can result in delays and penalties.
